First steps with Across
As a solution combining the properties of Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools with those of complex management process systems in translation project coordination, Across gains ever more, mainly Western Europe, enthusiasts. Across technology is based on access of users - translation office employees, translators and clients - to the server. The program enables centrally writing into equally the translation bases, as for example, project histories and current tasks. This according to the programming creators ensures even greater translation cohesion and greater transparency and efficiency in project management.
Considering the future incorporation of Across technology into the ordering and translation process coordination, we are currently acquainting ourselves with the potential of this system. Whether Across fulfils our expectations and shall be brought into the operation of our office permanently is still an open question. It is however undoubtedly a new proposition on the assisted translation process program market, with possibilities worth familiarising oneself with.

tego systemu. Czy Across spełni nasze oczekiwania i zostanie na stałe
wprowadzony w pracę naszego biura jest jeszcze kwestią otwartą.
Niewątpliwie jednak jest to nowa propozycja na rynku programów
wspomagających procesy tłumaczeniowe, z której możliwościami warto się
zapoznać.
